I'm the breeder behind Paradiso Cane Corso located in Edgewater, FL. We proudly carry on the traditional Cane Corsos used as livestock guardians, personal guard dogs, K-9 officers, and family pets. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. These are true working dogs. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy, loving guardians for farms, homes, and professional K-9 trainers.
About Renee
Born and raised on a farm in New Jersey I've cared for animals my entire life. During my youth, I worked as a Veterinarian technician at a large Animal hospital in NJ. While attending Nursing School I owned, raised, bred, showed, and championed Chinese Shar-Peis. My Hubby's love for English bulldogs we likewise bred for 8 years. On the farm, we raise Cane Corso as LGDs.
What makes Renee’s program special
My current program is from the "Original" Cane Corso that was nearly extinct in the 1980s. I have steered away from the "New Age" Boxer Corso that many are breeding today. These are larger dogs, they still remain within the "standard" but are on the top end of the scale. My Corso dogs are still being used as farm guardians which they have been bred to do for centuries.
Renee has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $3,500.
“Price includes dual registration AKC & ICCF. Tails cropped, dewclaws removed and ears cropped. Pups receive scheduled dewormings and are up-to-date on vaccinations. They go home with a State Health Certificate, 2-year health guarantee, and microchip. I ask for a non-refundable deposit after the puppies have their eyes open. Must be sent to PayPal sent as a "gift" from friends and family.”
Renee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Renee offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Renee directly.
Many people come to play with the puppies. The puppies are taken for daily "outings" to play with our baby goats. We also have monkeys and they are introduced to the primates so as to get used to many different animals, people, noises (we are near a shooting range) and we also will take them out to the local home stores after they have received their 2nd set of vaccinations. Socialization is key to this large breed. We have a personal trainer that also comes to the farm and "grades" the puppies to help us learn how to best support the pups and their new families.
As an RNC Allergy Specialist by profession, I am very anal about my puppies' care and scheduled deworming and vaccination schedule. From 2 weeks of age, they are started on their deworming schedule every 2 weeks, in between, I also administer Toltrazuril which is a Coccidiosis preventative. Their vaccinations begin 5-6 weeks and every two weeks thereafter giving the Combo 5 vaccine (X2), and then the Combo 9 vaccine (X2) if they remain with me longer than 12 weeks they will also receive their Rabies Vaccination. I have a licensed veterinarian come to my farm and give health certificates on each puppy around 8 weeks prior to them going to their new homes.
We send our puppies home with Volhard Personality Test, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Toy with Mom's Scent, Puppy Starter Kit, Food Starter Bag, Microchip, Certificate of Health, Breed Club Registration, Bone, Blanket with Littermates Scent, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and AKC Registration.
