It is our passion to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies so that others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Dachshund! Our dogs are a huge part of our lives, and we enjoy spending time with them; whether that be through completing our various day-to-day activities together or just cuddling up at night.

Laken has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $250.
“Depend on Parents some puppies may be approved with breeding right to small in home breeders. Also included is registration, a 1-year health guarantee, and up-to-date vaccinations and deworming. Breeding Rights now available to select in home/small breeding programs. This deposit is non-refundable, unless there is a problem and something unforeseen happens to your puppy while in our care. In that case the buyer will get a full refund or the deposit will be moved to a future litter/puppy. If for some reason the buyer decides not to get a puppy (changes mind, financial situation changes, ect) deposit is still non-refundable.”
Laken may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Our puppies are raised in our home. We put a lot of care into socializing our puppies so they can transition easily into their new lives with their forever families. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Nail trimmings every 2 weeks, Noise desensitized , Human contact from birth, and on daily basis, handled daily introduced to sounds touch , limited exposure to children and elderly, Early stages of crate training, Noises , Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Various Surfaces, and Sound Stimulation.
We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Microchip, Registration, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, AKC Registration, Toy with Mom's Scent, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Puppy Leash, and Puppy Collar.
Laken offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We don’t ship our puppies, but we are more than happy to meet at reasonable distances or at our local airports.”
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.
