What makes Carrie and Mark’s program special

About Alrik
Alrik is about as gentle of a dog as you can imagine. He was born to be a companion. From the time he was born due to his sheer size I thought he would be a bit domineering, but he is the furthest thing from it. He is a gentle giant, and the best dog I have ever had on a leash. He loves other dogs, but he truly loves people and still tries to be a lap dog despite his size. From the time he was tiny the neighbors brought their kids by almost daily to play with the puppies. Alrik never once nipped, barked, or growled even though sometimes the kids played a bit rough. He is just built different. He has beautiful markings, with a rich reddish brown over white, and despite his ultimate "sad puppy" eyes, he is a very very happy boy! He is ready to offer stud services and he will make beautiful happy puppies.

About Freyja
Freyja is a very sweet and gentle hound, who is also very patient and great with kids. She loves to play (even if she runs out of steam pretty quick) and she is a really good companion while taking great care of her puppies. Freyja attended her first show the second weekend in June. She blue ribboned two days in a row, and won her first points toward her champion. Freyja comes from an exceptional champion blood line from Maple Street Bassets in Alabama. Her dad is a Czech import and her grandma came from Italy.
