I'm Paige H., the breeder behind Ramos Standards located in Pottstown, PA. Our dogs are bred with temperament as the top priority with their athleticism and conformation closely following. We strive to better our breed with every beating heart we produce and not a single one of my dogs are unaccounted for. We are now offering Poodles!
Q. & A. with Paige
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Australian Shepherd 10 years ago and have fallen head over heels since. They are my heart breed. I have never had a dog so smart and willing to work in my entire life and won't have it any other way. I decided with my first female that I wanted to give back to my community. I bred her at 2 and provided working dogs for several farms in my area. I bought my first standard poodle in 2021 and after completing my mentoring I am now able to breed them.
What makes your program special?
I think my program is special because as time goes on my dogs are becoming more and more quality not only in pedigree and breeding but in temperament and longevity. I go out of my way to make sure my dogs have the best care possible by the best vets in my area. My litters are never in peril with my emergency vet just 30 minutes from my home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

These dogs are already reserved or have gone home.

About Ruby
Ruby has been embark tested and cleared for all genetic diseases. She only caries Copper Toxicosis (Attenuating) RETN. This particular mutation is not a bad one. In fact it is helpful. She would need it if she tested positive for ATP7B which means copper accumulates excessively in the body, mostly in the liver. Paige made everything super easy and straightforward. Accommodating my questions and meet up quickly and without complications. Fiona (her new name) has been a dream come true. She is smart, affectionate, and everything I could have ever dreamed of. She is learning commands so quickly, you can tell she got started on the right path long before we brought her home. 10/10 experience, and currently fighting the urge to get another pup from Ramos standards everyday!

Paige was great. She answered our emails within hours and brought her 2 six-month-old puppies to our house. We loved both dogs but sadly could only get one of them. Our new found furry friend is adjusting just great to our home and lifestyle. She (Bailey) was just at the local vet. and given her rabies and Bordetella shots. She's a very healthy dog and full of life. We made the right decision to get a puppy from Paige, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking to add an Aussie to their family.

Connecting with Paige on Good Dog was a stress free experience. From communication, payment etc... From day one Paige was very responsive to my questions via emails , texts promptly. My family was set to meet one female but during meeting visit our hearts were quickly switched meeting a male named Turkish. Even though we loved the female too we had to pick one. Turkish who name is Remi now won!!!
Later that day and still to this day (a year later)Paige has been in communication with our family for updates on her pups. If you are interested in adding an Australian Shepard to your family I hands down recommend Paige Horton and utilizing Good Dog for the process!!
