I'm the breeder behind Riot Australian Shepherds located in Plover, WI. My dogs tend to be higher drive show line dogs who can fit in with the family, run agility, compete in obedience, or find their home in the show ring. Please note that I *do not* ever place puppies by color. I evaluate temperaments and choose the home that best matches the individual.
About Brittany
All of our dogs are our pets first and foremost. I show and title my dogs in multiple sports and venues so I have a great connection with all of them. We have a young daughter who helps with all of the dog chores. I own a grooming salon in my home so I can spend time with my own dogs. Producing dogs with exceptional temperament, health, and structure is my biggest passion in life.
What makes Brittany’s program special
Every single litter I breed is done with every ounce of care in my heart. I value every home equally, whether you are taking your dog to the National Specialty or the next walk in the woods. I am there for you every step of the way. If you need help, I'm just a 2 am phone call about your puppy away. I take your worries and concerns about every scratch as my own and I'll guide you through them all.

When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Puppies are priced the same for all colors and sexes but may differ based on contractual obligations. I accept a limited number of deposits per litter. Deposit guarantees you will be offered a puppy unless there is not a puppy that I feel is suitable to your home, in which case I will refund.”
Brittany may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Brittany offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Brittany directly.
Puppies are whelped in my bedroom and moved to my dining room once they are 4 weeks old. Every puppy has early neurological stimulation and is handled several times a day by myself and my immediate family. Once they are old enough to have visitors, they meet new people regularly. In the center of my house, they get to see all of the daily activity and are introduced to novel sounds and experiences. Beginning at 4 weeks they are bathed and dried weekly. Nails are clipped every few days from birth. I leash break all puppies as well. I start puppies on all listed skills but they need to be followed through by you! I utilize the following enrichment methods: Potty Training, Leash Walking, "No" Biting or Chewing, Clicker Training, Crate Training, Sit Command, Biosensor Training, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Touch Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, and Structures, e.g. Climbing.
Every puppy is dewormed every 2 weeks and receives their first vaccine at 7 weeks of age. Their tails are banded at 24 hours and come off shortly after. Puppies are seen by the vet at 7-8 weeks to have a microchip implanted and registered. At that same appointment, my vet looks over every puppy to make sure I've missed nothing and clears their health.
We send our puppies home with Breed Club Registration, Microchip, AKC Registration, Vaccinations, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Food Starter Bag, and Volhard Personality Test.
Brittany offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Why Brittany started breeding
My first show quality Aussie has taken me on so many adventures and she pushed me to become the person I am today. With some encouragement from her breeder (my mentor), she has become the foundation of my program. Rhea showed me just how much an exceptional Aussie can be and I want other people to have that experience.
Brittany has been a member of Good Dog for over 5 years

Brittany’s program includes four colors

About Shade
Shade is an AKC and ASCA Champion who finished with limited showing. Additionally, he excels in the stock pen and will be trialing in AKC and ASCA herding venues. All of that aside, Shade is exceedingly sweet and loving with his people and reserved with strangers, though never reactive or aggressive.
