I'm the breeder behind Riverside Ranch Retrievers located in Prosser, WA. Our dogs and pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We strive to produce high-quality show prospects and companions. We are invested in Golden Retrievers and in helping the breed thrive. We do all that we can to give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, thorough socialization, and finding them each wonderful, loving homes.

Getting a puppy from Amy

Amy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,500 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $200.

“The price includes 3 wormings before 8 weeks of age, well puppy exam with first round of vaccines at 8 weeks, 4th worming, AKC registration and a goody bag to go home with. Our prices are the same for males and females and are sold with a limited AKC registration.”

Enrichment and socialization

I utilize the following enrichment methods: Neurological stimulation, socialized with my other pets and kids, Being raised inside a home environment with constant children and adult socialization , Select friends and family, household pets, television, radio, appliances, scenarios in home for confidence building. , Touch Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Cats, Adult and children socializing , Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Socialized with Children.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are taken to my vet for a health check and first round of vaccines and receive their 4th worming at 8 weeks of age.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
