I'm the breeder behind Running to Stand Still (RTSS) located in Oxford, FL. We strive to produce healthy and versatile companions that abide by the Greyhound standards in structure, type, and temperament. Our ultimate goal is to produce happy and healthy canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions.

About Diane
I lived in Illinois for my whole life until my husband, Dave, passed away unexpectedly. I decided to move to Florida and buy a farm where my dogs would have plenty of room.
What makes Diane’s program special
I choose the dogs in my breeding program based on their personality. I like to breed sweet and mellow greyhound puppies. I don't train them to chase just in case they will be going to a home with cats or other small animals. My breeding program has produced amazing puppies that have brought joy to their new homes. Many of my families keep coming back to me for their new family members.

Getting a puppy from Diane
Diane has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a refundable deposit of $750.
“The price includes vaccinations up to puppy's age, health certificate, deworming, microchip. A $250 deposit is required to add your name to an upcoming litter. Once you choose a puppy from a litter, the remaining deposit balance of $500 will be required to put that puppy on hold for you.”
Contract and health guarantee
Diane may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Diane offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Diane directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Car rides, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are vaccinated and taken to a vet for a health certificate.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Vet records, Microchip, Registration, Puppy Leash, Vaccinations, Certificate of Health, and Microchipped .
Bringing your puppy home
Diane offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Oxford, FL or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“I don't ship my puppies but you can either pick up your puppy at my home or I can meet you at a local airport. You can also contact my recommended pet ground transporter, she does nationwide.”
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at a meeting point close to home.

Why Diane started breeding
I was involved with greyhound adoption for 17 years. I decided that if racing was going to end, I wanted to make sure that the racing greyhound lines continue. So I started breeding racing greyhounds for pets.
Diane has been a member of Good Dog for over 3 years
Diane was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2021.
