I'm the breeder behind Sandbox Puppies located in Marionville, MO. I'm a home-based breeder of quality Bouvier des Flandres puppies! I have been raising AKC Bouviers since the '80s. This is a truly extraordinary breed with non-shedding/hypo-allergenic coats, intelligence, intuitive nature, and trainability. Their laid-back nature and gentle temperament make Bouviers an ideal family breed AND the best dog you will own - come see for yourself! All puppies are sold with limited registration(no breeding).

    My dogs are a passion of mine, and I cannot imagine life without them! They are members of my family first and foremost. They receive daily socialization, stimulation, and an abundance of love at all times! I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability. I look forward to connecting with you!

    My passion for this breed is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do. I carefully breed each litter with a focus on health, temperament, coat color, and conformation. Once pups are born, I lovingly hand-raise each and every one to ensure a reliable temperament and cherished companionship. I want nothing more than to see each and every one of my dogs and puppies shine!

Getting a puppy from Lisa

Lisa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Price is for uncropped ears, ear cropping is $450 extra, transportation is $550 extra. Deposits are transferable UP TO 18 months, but non refundable.”

Contract and health guarantee

Lisa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

I do everything I can to socialize my puppies. I want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Various sounds, Car rides, and Puppy Culture.

Puppy health practices

I prioritize the health and well-being of each one of my puppies, and I follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Basic obedience & manners, Registration, Initial potty training, Toys, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Food & treats, Microchip, and Microchip.

Bringing your puppy home

Pick up your puppy in Marionville, MO or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
