I'm the breeder behind Sequoia Kennels located in Hartville, OH. I work hard to produce healthy, happy, loving puppies, and I take great pride in my breeding program. I want to make the transition from my loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home.

    I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy dogs for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program.
  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. I genuinely cherish our dogs and am committed to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and beauty of my quality puppies. I am passionate about what I do, and I can't wait to connect with you!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Danielle

Danielle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“AKC Limited Registration Papers, age-appropriate deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, started on litter training, raised in my home with our family. All of my puppies are the same price regardless of color or gender. Deposit is received once puppies are picked for their new homes.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
