I'm the breeder behind Serenade located in Davison, MI. Holistic integrated wellness approach to our pets health care. We don't always place a pup at 8 weeks, we may make them available at an older age instead. The additional time, ensures that we care to determine that the pups are 100% well-adjusted & healthy, an ready to be placed in a new environment.
Q. & A. with A Reputable/Responsible
Why did you start breeding?
Owning, showing & breeding family Collies/Shetland Sheepdogs has been a dream come true. Our happiness comes from helping others who would love to own a Collie/Shetland Sheepdog and be able to share that joy with their family and friends. We no longer have Collies.
Thank you for your interest in Serenade Shetland Sheepdogs
What makes your program special?
We have chosen to place these exquisite, quality, healthy, puppies in forever loving emotional support, agility or obedience performance companion/pet homes on AKC limited registrations. We bred primarily for ourselves, so we choose to no longer place our puppies in breeding/show homes. We just don't have the time to mentor. These pups are every bit champions in their role as pet companion.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and white, black and white, sable merle and white, blue merle white and tan, black white and tan, and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
