I'm the breeder behind Simply Xolos located in Dillwyn, VA. We believe all puppies should be raised with lots of love, stimulation and start good training habits. We have a program that we established to start our pups off with basic obedience training, good potty training habits and exposure to a wide variety of textures, noises and stimuli (feel free to read more about it here https://www.simplyxolos.dog/about/raising-puppies/ We do our best to match dogs to families that are the best fit for both the dog and the family. You can read more about that here https://www.simplyxolos.dog/about/how-our-process-works/.
About Laura
My Xolos are as much a part of my family as anyone else in the house. We raise all our pups indoors with lots of exposure to environmental noises and surfaces and stimuli. They are all exposed to children and socialized as much as possible for their age. My life revolves around my family and my dogs. We are all very proud of the pups we produce. I could not imagine a household without a dog in it.
What makes Laura’s program special
Our goals and purpose is to better the breed, keep them true to their history and improve what is needed. As a Xolo breeder, I do health testing and continue to work closely with a geneticist and multiple veterinary experts to help not only our breeding, but further the knowledge needed to expand genetic knowledge of the breed. We do have a more unique process from application to matching puppies. We does this because, after years of experience, we believe this is the best thing we can do for both our pups and future owners. We continually do what we can to keep improving that process. I also believe there is a balance between natural & traditional medicine that benefits both people & animals. I have and will continue to study and learn anything I can to benefit my dogs and breeding program.

Why Laura started breeding
I have been in the dog world for 25 years. I started in rescue and working at a local vets office. I have shown in multiple performance sports, conformation and was a training instructor. In 2000, I started working with a Breeder where I did temperament of testing litters, training and showing of her dogs.
