I'm the breeder behind Southern Nevada Goldens located in Pahrump, NV. We have a puppy culture program from 0-8wks that ensures your puppy is socialized properly! We also start basic training and communication at just 4 weeks of age. Puppies are raised inside the home with us at all times. They’re socialized with people and older dogs.
About Amanda
We are a family of 4 ( mom, dad, son-17, and grandma) The puppy raising is mostly left to mom and grandma as it is their full time jobs! We enjoy spending as much time at home as possible. True home bodies!
What makes Amanda’s program special
We use a puppy culture for ages birth-8 weeks. This exposes puppies to all the sights, sounds, and interactions in a normal household. We have seen many puppies come from breeders who had very little interaction with their pups and have developed many behavioral issues. Age appropriate training and interactions is the single most over looked factor in choosing a breeder!
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“This price includes a 2-5 year health guarantee, all vaccines and wormings, and AKC paperwork. We also include a 4 week online training course.”
Amanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Amanda offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Amanda directly.

Why Amanda started breeding
My parents were heavily involved in the development of the American Akita in the 80's. Once I had a child of my own, I decided raising goldens fit our lifestyle more.
