I'm the breeder behind Southpaw Schnauzers located in Winston Salem, NC. Our goal is to produce quality, healthy puppies, to our families. We health test our dogs to ensure health and a long happy life for our babies. Our puppies receive early stimulation with sounds, light and textures. They are used to everyday, household sounds. We have a sanitized puppy play yard that we allow our puppies to explore and begin potty training. We are happy to video chat and have vet and personal references, upon request.

What makes Clista’s program special
We care first and foremost about the health and well being of our adults. Health testing comes first and we then clear our dogs for breeding. We take all puppies as well as our adults, to our vet for the best care possible. We provide early stimulation to our pups with lights, sounds and textures.

Why Clista started breeding
I began breeding around 2007. I have had Schnauzers since my childhood. We always loved how different each of them were. Our first, second and third were salt and pepper. As an adult, I had the pleasure of living next door to a wonderful mentor and vet tech that helped me in my decision to breed. I had always wanted to share this breed because growing up, Mini Schnauzers werent seen very often. I wanted to tell everyone about ours and how great they were. I bred my first girl and with help from my mentor, was hooked. Watching and assisting pups being brought into this world just amazed me. I love watching them grow into their own little personalities.

Clista was an absolute delight from the moment we met to the day we picked up Teddy. He was healthy and 90% potty trained. She spent time telling us about his pedigree and letting meet her fur-family....
