About Dana
I work a full-time job and all of my spare time is spent with my dogs. I have had a deep love for this breed since I was a child. My goal is to one day have all of my breeding dogs be bred-by Champions. It is important to me to help preserve this breed that I love so much.
What makes Dana’s program special
I think what sets my program apart is my drive to always try to improve. I would love for more people to have beautiful chihuahuas that look the way a chihuahua is actually supposed to look, regardless of if they plan to show.

“Price includes limited AKC registration, 2 year health guarantee, and lifetime support. Puppy will be wormed & puppy shots started. No deposit will be taken until a specific puppy is being reserved.”
Dana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Dana offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dana directly.
We handle the pups daily and give them the foundation they need to make a great show dog or pet. They start learning as soon as they leave the whelping box that there is a specific place to potty and when they are old enough, start learning some basic commands and manners. We try to expose them to a new challenge every day to help them learn how to problem solve and be prepared for the world. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Basic manners, exposure to agility tunnel, wobble board and other novel items, We practice Puppy Culture, a program that conditions your puppy with early neurological stimulation and socializing techniques that reduce stress and fear for the development of a healthy, happy puppy, Outdoors, e.g. rain, Household Desensitization, and Litter Box Trained.
Puppies will receive shots at 8wks, 11wks, and 14 wks old. They will have their first vet exam before going to their new home.
We send our puppies home with Vaccinations, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Puppy Leash, Puppy Collar, Food Starter Bag, and AKC Registration.
Dana offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“I do not ship puppies and I do not deliver to parking lot meetings. You will need to travel to my home in Hood River, OR and should plan for about an hour at pickup.”
