I'm the breeder behind Stephanie's Bayou Pekingese located in Maurice, LA. In order to produce the best quality puppies, I breed with a focus on health, temperament, and structure. I am passionate about my furbabies and my love for them shines through in every aspect of our breeding program. I have many who can vouch for me feel free to join my fb group.

About Stephanie
My name is Stephanie my husband and I have 4 kids. We also have a family farm. We love all our animals they are more then just pets. Pekingese are my favorite breed of dogs there is just something so very special about them.
What makes Stephanie’s program special
I take pride in my breeding program. I want to help keep this breed going. I am here to help everyone find the furbabies. I have CKC, AKC, registered pekingese. All my puppies see vet as well as recieved shots and dewormer by vet prior to going to the furever homes, they also go home with vet records and a puppy pack from me with all they need to get started in their new home!!

Getting a puppy from Stephanie
Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. “Price varies on a few things such as: 1) If they are AKC or CKC registered or championship bloodline 2) Sex of puppy 3) Coat color & markings . I require a deposit of $500 in order for me to reserve your puppy. Its non refundable deposit I can discuss more with you if u need. I am responsible for your your puppy till you pick it up I assure you a happy healthy puppy.”

What's included
Enrichment and socialization
All of out puppies have socialized with other dogs of all ages as well as cats. They have also been around children of all ages. They are used of playing with different toys. I also pee pad train all my puppies. As well as get them used to being rewarded for good behavior with treats!!! I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, grooming , Name Recognition, Noise desensitization, Pee pad, Potty training, crate training, We do NOT take them out in public, they're not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks, but we do have friends and family who help with "daily playtime"., Early stages of crate training, Noises , Toys, e.g. Ball, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Cats, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
Puppy health practices
Prior to puppies going home All puppies have their dueclaws removed, they are wormed at 2 4 6 weeks, first set of shots at 6 weeks, Negative fecal test They also will have all vet records All shots or done by veternaian .
Extras
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, and Registration.
Bringing your puppy home
Stephanie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Maurice, LA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Why Stephanie started breeding
My parents bred dogs my whole life. They bred many different breeds. There was always something special about the pekingese. When i became an adult they gave me my first peke that I was completely responsible for. After I lost him I couldn't find peke anywhere. I searched for 7 months before I found one. Then I decided to start breeding knowing I couldn't be the only one searching for pekingese.
