I'm the breeder behind Susan Davis' Pugs located in Virginia. I show and breed Pug dogs to the Pug Dog Breed Standard for health, temperament and conformation. We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

They live inside our home and interact with family members and friends, although difficult To manage during this pandemic. They begin house breaking at 12 weeks through the use of a crate (previous to this they have had access to litter box in their puppy pen. I also own the set of DVDs that make up the Puppy Culture Program.

Puppy health practices

Pups receive checkups and vaccinations (DHPP) at 8, 12, and 16 weeks with my reproduction specialist veterinarian. They are wormed at 4,6,8,10,12 weeks with Nemex II (Pyrantel Pamoate) and again at 16 weeks with Safeguard (Fenbendazole).

Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
