I'm the breeder behind Susquehannock Aussies located in Drumore, PA. My husband and I have 5 acres that we share with our Australian Shepherds. We have had several people ask if we leave tails, I am open to leaving a tail if pup is paid for in full before 3 days old. This being said personalities and eye color are not revealed as of this time period.
About Lauren
I live in Lancaster County PA. My husband and I have a 5-acre farmette. We have raised sheep, cattle, hogs, horses, chickens, etc. I love animals and after meeting the Australian Shepherd breed I fell in love with them and wanted to share the breed with others.
What makes Lauren’s program special
Our Aussies are members of our family. They live in the house with us and all puppies are whelped in house. Our Puppies are well socialized with us and friends. We do try to accommodate our puppy buyers, I am willing to leave a tail on a puppy BUT this procedure has to be performed BEFORE the pup is 5 days old puppy has to be picked out and paid for before this time. Payment will not be refunded.

We had friends that came to the house to see and play with puppies. We are giving them the attention they experience living in a home with all the distractions. They also get outdoor time on our 5 acres to explore. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Car rides, Human contact from birth, and on daily basis, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, socialization with other dogs, Human Interactions , Car Training , Socialized with Adult Dogs, Household Desensitization, and Outdoors (when Weather permits).
The puppies and mom are wormed every 2 weeks. At 7 weeks the puppies are vaccinated with a 5 way. Between week 7 and weaning, puppies are taken to our vet for a wellness exam. Puppies are microchipped.
We send our puppies home with Toys, Vet records, Microchip, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Food & treats, Breed Club Registration, Dew claws removed, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Microchip, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Certificate of Health, Food Starter Bag, and Vaccinations.
Lauren offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We do not ship our puppies. You can come to the house to meet the puppies and see their parents. Our puppies are important and we want to meet prospective pup parents.”
Why Lauren started breeding

About Mercy
Beautiful blue Merle, she is very shy with people. I feel this is due to Covid and not getting out for early socialization. She has been participating in various training situations with other people and dogs and improving. This will be Mercy x Rudy second litter, we have had so many positive comments from buyers of their previous litter. She has been participating in Agility and has been loving it! She is a very expressive dog and is so loving.
