Sheena has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,200 - $1,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Puppies come with the first set of shots, deworming starting at two weeks with three different types of dewormer, health guarantee, and puppy package. I require a $500 deposit to hold a puppy. I will send a contract before any money is received. All deposit money goes towards the total purchase price of the puppy.”
Sheena may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Sheena offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sheena directly.
Our puppies are held and socialized from as early as Mom will allow. I have four children who are used to handling puppies, along with enhancement toys for them to play with, and other animals in the home for them to interact with. I start grooming desensitization at 1 week old, and by 3 weeks old they get a weekly full bath. Pee pad training starts as soon as they move out of the whelping box. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with children, Car rides, Socialized in new places, Socialized with other dogs, Human Interactions, Noise Desensitization, Behavioral Shaping, Name Recognition, Potty Pad Training, Household Desensitization, Texture stimulation, Strangers, Scents, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Brushing, Grooming and Nail Care, Early Socialization, Scent Introduction, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.
All puppies are taken to the vet at 8 weeks and 11 weeks for vaccines and to be evaluated by the vet. Also, puppies are taken to the vet the day of or day before going home for a health certificate. This guarantees the puppies are healthy upon leaving my care.
We send our puppies home with Food & treats, Basic obedience & manners, Early Neurological Stimulation, AKC Registration, Food Starter Bag, Vaccinations, Puppy Starter Kit, and Certificate of Health.
Sheena offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Why Sheena started breeding
I got into breeding once my children got a little older and didn't need as much of me anymore. I have always loved animals and either wanted to rescue or breed. I fell in love with the Shih Tzu. I enjoy dressing them up and fixing their hair. Being able to help others find healthy puppies is so important to me that it led me to breeding.
