I'm the breeder behind The Darling Pup located in Georgetown, TX. We raise Aussaliers, combining the intelligence, heart, and trainability of the Mini/Toy Aussie with the highly friendly, outgoing, and chill attitude of the Cavalier.

Getting a puppy from Darla

Darla has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $2,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $400.

“Dew claws removed, microchipped, health certificate, first two vaccines, dewormed, flea/tick/heartworm. Two-year health guarantee + goodie bag with food, treats, familiar blanket, and training book. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the puppy. Please note this is non refundable and final remaining balance is owed prior to pick up of puppy.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our little friends are taught how to be the most confident versions of themselves using the BAB method. We guide them through brain-boosting exercises, important desensitizations, as well as daily cuddle and handling sessions, all culminating in a puppy personality assessment! I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Daily handling, Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Car rides, Various sounds, Puppy Temperament Evalulation, outside play, Initiate Crate Training , Touch, pets, and kisses are encouraged during human socialization., We train them to sit and wait for a treat, surface and tactile stimulation, Litter Box Trained, Car Training , Recall training, Early socialization, Human Interactions , Potty training, crate training, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , and Noise desensitization.

Puppy health practices

All puppies will have their Dew Claws removed, be microchipped, undergo a veterinary examination with fecal testing and initial vaccines, and follow a deworming protocol from 3 weeks old to prepare them for adoption into their new homes.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Basic obedience & manners, Toys, Initial potty training, Microchip, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Vet records, and Food & treats.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
