I'm the breeder behind Tightline located in Lake Wales, FL. The black mouth cur is a breed with deep roots in my life. Therefore, I breed to preserve the history of this rustic breed. However, I also breed dogs who are structured to work and be competitive within the show ring. My dogs come from lines within central Florida and are UKC registered.
About Chloe
Growing up in the swamps, you appreciate a good farm dog; the bmc is just that! We love these dogs' ability to go from pushing cattle across the pastures to baying hogs at night. We strive to produce well-structured dogs without sacrificing the drive and the work ethic that made us fall in love with the breed.
What makes Chloe’s program special
I do not breed for the public. I breed to better the breed I love. My program has dogs with titles on both ends and parents who meet personal qualifications. This is not my priority income and will never be. It is just a part of making the breed better.

“All puppies are the same price regardless of color. This price guarantees UKC registration, 6-week & 9-week vaccinations, deworming, and a happy puppy. I ask for a deposit that will be taken off the total amount. This deposit is requested at the time the puppies are evaluated and you are satisfied with the puppy we matched you with.”

Our puppies are raised in the home with many fun toys to play with while nursing with mom. Once weaned puppies are introduced to cats, other dogs, and the outside world, with careful supervision. Visitors are occasionally allowed if they are part of that litter's list. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Outdoors (when Weather permits), Car Rides, Various Surfaces , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Touch Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Cats, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , Volhard testing, Car Training , Human Interactions , Crate Training, and Potty Training.
We follow our local veterinarian's protocol: Puppies are vaccinated at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, and 12 weeks.
We send our puppies home with Registration, Volhard Personality Test, Microchip, and Certificate of Health.
Chloe offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We do not ship unless discussed. You can pick up the puppy at my home or meet me at a local airport. We highly recommend meeting our dogs and us prior to purchasing a puppy.”
Why Chloe started breeding
I have trained and shown dogs my whole life, upon moving back to my hometown and revisiting my roots was what made me realize the breed I love has always been the Black Mouth Cur. Upon researching, I began to realize that there aren't many out there who are proving the versatility of this breed, I decided to combine my talents as a handler and my knowledge of the breed to create something special.
