I'm the breeder behind TK Poodles located in New Jersey. We breed for health & temperament primarily. Colors are a bonus! Genetic and OFA health testing is key component of our program. Our puppies are raised using the BAB curriculum which has proven to greatly improve outcomes for puppies and their families.

About Tyisha
My name is Tyisha Hill-Craddock and I am the creator of TK Poodles. I have always had a passion for animals and an organic love for dogs specifically. As a young girl I grew up with large breed dogs amongst many other animals I was able to get my paws on. My bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Rutgers University paired with my years of experience as a professional Registered Nursed has afforded me not only the ability to care for humans, but the knowledge to incorporate health, testing, treatment and prevention into quality breeding.

Our program is home-based and our dogs are apart of our family. Breeding is done responsibly and intentionally. Health testing, ENS, ESI, Socialization, Litter box training, grooming exposure and temperament testing are just some key components of our program.

Puppy health practices

Each puppy is vet checked and given a health certificate prior to going to their new homes. We follow proper deworming schedules at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. We provide the puppies first vaccine before going to their new homes as well.

Pick up your puppy in New Jersey or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Why Tyisha started breeding
A decade ago, my husband and I purchased Chloe, a crème toy poodle. It was then when we fell in love with the breed. Shortly after Chole joined our family, Kadeem and I purchased our first home along with London, a red miniature poodle. London was the perfect addition to our family and the perfect sister for Chole. London’s temperament, beauty, color and fun size was captivating, we were completely in love. I said to my husband, “every family needs a London.” At that moment TK Poodles was established.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
