I'm the breeder behind Tokubetsuna Shibas located in Roseville, CA. Our Shiba Inu are registered with AKC, and backed with passing OFA health tests. Additionally, some of our dogs partake in conformation, coursing ability &/or obedience programs based on their interests. All of our dogs/puppies are raised in our home and are carefully socialized and handled to best prepare for their future placements! About Britney
…Growing up, I have always had an interest in dogs and have had experience with several breeds as a dog kennel attendant in my College years. It was about 5 years ago when I brought home my first companion Shiba Inu and have not looked back since. The breed is clean, biddable, independent, outstandingly clever & a great size for my living arrangements. With that, I expanded my knowledge with the breed and getting in touch with mentors, which eventually led me to bring home my first Shiba Inu that would bring up my foundation today and getting my foot in the door for conformation, sports & obedience with the breed - which, by the way, this breed can do ANYTHING (if something is in it for them 😆)

Getting a puppy from Britney
Britney has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“This price includes: 1. Limited AKC registration (I.e non-breeding/companion AKC registration) 2. Health clearance, deworming & first vaccination. 3. A well-bred Shiba Inu and a lifetime support from Tokubetsuna Shibas ❤️. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is required for your puppy pick and a contract will be signed by both parties to ensure security.”
Contract and health guarantee
Britney may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Enrichment and socialization
I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Car rides, Surface & tactile stimulation, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
All puppies will be dewormed, vaccinated & healthy before leaving to their new homes.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Basic obedience & manners, Registration, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, and Initial potty training.
Bringing your puppy home
Britney offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Roseville, CA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
