I'm the breeder behind Trillium German Shorthaired Pointers located in Albuquerque, NM. We aim to produce true to standard, versatile hunting companions, with an emphasis on wild bird hunting dogs. We only place puppies in hunting or competition homes, with preference given to those active in NAVHDA, field trials and hunt tests. Learn more about the breed here gspca.org/.
What makes Laine’s program special
I aim to produce dogs with the correct, practical build, erring toward the smaller side of the standard. Intelligent dogs with stable temperaments and good work ethic, paired with natural bird hunting ability and a serious off switch.

Why Laine started breeding
After acquiring Augie, I knew I wanted to do more with her. I met people invested in the breed who has shared their knowledge of pedigrees, conformation, temperament, whelping and rearing with me and I took the plunge.
Laine has been a member of Good Dog for over 4 years

About Tilly
Tilly is from our first litter, and is a wonderful blend of her parents. She has a calm disposition in the house and out and about and is a capable bird dog wherever our travels take us. She’s pointed four species of quail, wild chukar, Hungarian partridge, pheasants, prairie chickens, ruffed grouse and woodcock from Oregon to Georgia. She loves to retrieve feather or fur, on land or water. Her intelligence and love of playing tug make her a very fun dog to work and train with. She has a dense coat, tight tough feet, and smooth balanced movement that allow her to be a go-to dog day after day even on the longest hunting trips. She tracks with the best of em and excels at pinning down stray single quail. She is AKC major pointed in conformation
