I'm the breeder behind Tri-sett located in N Franklin, CT. I started with field English and field Irish before purchasing my first Gordon in 1972. Have bred 1 Dual Ch, 2 Master Hunter, 2 Senior Hunters, Many Junior Hunters, Show Ch, & Obedience titled dogs. I have produced 8 GSCA Top Producers over the years, have bred 4 Best in Show winners, & multiple Specialty winners. I look forward to introducing you to your next Gordon Setter!

My puppies are raised and trained in my home. I put a lot of care into socializing my puppies so they can transition easily into their new lives with their forever families. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, House Training, and Crate Training.
I ensure each puppy gets proper health care prior to rehoming.
We send our puppies home with Toy, Microchipped , Food Starter Bag, Puppy Leash, Puppy Starter Kit, Puppy Collar, Certificate of Health, Breed Club Registration, and AKC Registration.
Karen offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cerebellar Cortical Degeneration (CCD), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4), DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
