I'm the breeder behind Vom Haus Highlands located in Augusta, WV. Vom Haus Highlands is a small breeder of high quality working line German Shepherds. All dogs selected for our breeding program have undergone rigorous health and temperament screening. We have hand selected and imported our dogs based on their outstanding temperaments and workability from Europe. Our goal is to provide well rounded healthy dogs with outstanding temperament’s. Our puppies start their Biosensor training on day three and we raise them using the latest puppy culture techniques. Our pups are suitable for a wide range of disciplines to include but not be limited to service/emotional support dogs, family/personal protection, search and rescue (SAR), high level competition, police/military and breeding programs. All our puppies are born and raised on our 50 acre homestead located in the scenic Potomac highlands of eastern West Virginia. All our dogs and puppies are family and treated as such. We offer on site pickup and shipping anywhere in the United States. International import and export services also available.

About Kyle
Hi I’m Kyle! I have over two decades working with, training and raising working line German Shepherds. I live on a 50 acre farm where the dogs enjoy the river and spending a lot of time off leash on the property. I have dedicated my entire life to raising these magnificent dogs for others to enjoy!

My breeding program is special because I put my dogs and clients first. My mission is to provide my dogs with the best life possible and to provide my clients with the best puppy and experience I can. When you choose us you become a part of our extended family! Each puppy that I raise has a special place in my heart and take’s with it all the love and joy that I have put in.

Getting a puppy from Kyle
Kyle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $4,500 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“Average price is $2500 including a $500 deposit. Includes deworming, vaccinations, vet check, early socialization, crate/house training, microchip, puppy starter kit, Pre paid AKC registration and health guarantee. Pick’s are determined on the order in which deposits have been received and the temperament/projected life style of the pup. Deposit is only refundable if I as the breeder back out of the sale.”
Contract and health guarantee
Kyle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are well adjusted and of sound temperament. We strive to make sure our pups are well socialized, environmentally sound and setup for success! We also offer additional training program’s at an additional cost. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, outside play, We introduce collar and leash training, grooming , ENS, surface and tactile stimulation, We start house training, We start crate training, Early socialization, leash training for control. visiting different environments, neural stimulation, Noise desensitization, Obedience training started, Behavioral shaping , Litter Box Trained, Car Training , Human Interactions , Impulse Control, Puppy Manners, Puppy Culture , Basic manners, Name recognition , Potty training, crate training, Sit Command, Biosensor Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Leash Walking, and Potty Training.
Puppy health practices
All puppies will receive age appreciate vaccinations and deworming. All puppies will receive a health wellness check by a licensed veterinarian prior to going to their new homes. Everything will be documented and transferred to the new owner. All puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee.

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Registration, Microchip, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Toys, and Food & treats.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

About Afra
…Afra is a high drive medium sized female that comes from Slavic police lines from her sire’s side. She is always very happy and excited to do just about anything putting 110% into everything she does. Happiness and joy radiate from her and you cant help but to smile leave all your worries behind and just enjoy her company. She has earned the nickname Cha-Cha because she is always dancing around with her happy feet. She is very confident in all situations and although high drive she has a wonderful off switch and settles down very quickly when it’s time to relax. She is very friendly and social with people and dogs while tending to be more neutral with other dogs. She is very handler oriented providing wonderful engagement and a strong desire to please. She is just an extremely well rounded stable dog that everyone falls in love with. She is also a bed hog!

Imported from Slovakia Jag is a stunning large dark sable male. He is fully health tested and titled possessing a Svv1 working dog title. Raised as a police dog in Slovakia Jag is more on the neural side. He is medium to higher drive possessing a clear head and rock solid nerves. Although he is serious when working he also has a fun and affectionate side. He is very well mannered and a joy to have around the house.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
