I'm the breeder behind Walnut Hollow Kennels located in Millersburg, PA. I am dedicated to raising quality pets for pet homes across the US.
About Chris
I was born and raised on a farm caring for newborn animals and I always had a passion to provide the best care possible for the first few months as that care can greatly impact the health of the puppy for the remainder of its life! I thoroughly enjoy seeing the new life of man's best friend and thus creating the desire to connect the perfect puppy to the perfect home.
What makes Chris’s program special
We take great pride in our puppies and are happy to provide a genetic health guarantee and lifelong support on all of them!
Chris has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“We are required by the state of PA to charge 6% sales tax for our puppies unless it is shipped out of state. We typically charge a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy.”

I personally play with them in the yard and have chew toys for them the play with all the time. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Toys, e.g. Ball and Chew, e.g. Bone.
Each puppy is dewormed every two weeks after birth using Pyrantel Pamoate until they are 10 weeks. Each puppy is also given their first round of vaccines between 6-7 weeks old.
We send our puppies home with Food Starter Bag, Microchip, toys , and Blanket.
Chris offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Chris started breeding
My brother and I acquired our dog as an antler hunting dog. We enjoyed the experience of raising her as a puppy and eventually having a litter of puppies from her! This created the desire to acquire another dog so we can pass along the excitement and love of puppies, along to new puppy homes across the US.
