I'm the breeder behind Wilson’s Double C Kennel located in San Antonio, TX. We focus on providing our puppies with daily socialization in a family enriched environment which also helps with noise desensitization. Early potty training is incorporated at 3/4 weeks of age to better help your new pup transition easily into their new home to continue his/her training.

    Double C Kennel is ran by Chelsey Clendennen and Chris Wilson. Whom were both born and raised in south Texas and have a passion for raising/training dogs.

Getting a puppy from Chris/Chelsey

Chris/Chelsey has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Our females and males are $1500. Vaccinations, AKC registration, tails docked, dewormed, socialized daily w/children, & early training. All deposits are non refundable & due prior to the reservation of your future puppy. Other than first and second pick the remaining puppies will be the same price per sex regardless of color or size.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well adjusted in a family enriched home environment with early potty/crate training implemented at 5 weeks of age. I utilize the following enrichment methods: We litter train our puppies by 4 weeks which makes crate training very easy., Human Interactions , Puppy Manners, Various sounds, Car rides, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Lots of socialization to learn that the world and people are safe, Various Surfaces , Touch Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Leash Walking, and Potty Training.

Puppy health practices

All of our puppies will come with their first set of vaccines, dewormed, tails docked and have passed a health check by our family vet before going home.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Registration, Early Neurological Stimulation, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Sound and texture enrichment, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, and AKC Registration.

    Double C Kennel is owned and operated by Chris Wilson and Chelsey Clendennen with the help of their 4 children in San Antonio, Texas. Chris Wilson has loved Cane Corsos since he was a kid and always dreamed of raising and breeding them for his own kennel one day. This year our family made that dream come true and we are now able to share this amazing dog breed with other families.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
