I'm the breeder behind Windfall Bernese located in Geauga County, OH. We're a small breeding program with 30 yrs in owning Bernese Mountain dogs! We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in loving homes. Holding ourselves to the breed standard is paramount to the well-being of our dog and our program we do all required health test on our dogs as recommended by our patent club BMDCA . My dogs are a huge part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them. I am an avid member of my local and national breed club and have served a number of different roles over the years. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs!

Kris has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $3,500 and include a deposit of $500.
“The price of a puppy is from $3000.00 to $3500.00. It includes 1st vaccines, microchipped, bag of food, toys, treats, info binder, AKC registration fee, 1 dose of flea, tick and heartworm prevention. All of our puppies are the same price regardless if they are show potential or a companion. we expect all companion dogs to be spayed and neuter as discussed in contract. deposits are refundable up until 7 wks. we do not sell to mix breed breeders or full registrations. Show potential puppies go on a co-ownership or as agreed at the time of contract signature. Thank you.”

I do everything I can to socialize my puppies. I want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: "No" Biting or Chewing, Initial House Training, Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Various People, Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Socialized with Other Animals.
I prioritize the health and well-being of each one of my puppies, and I follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.
We send our puppies home with Welcome Home bag, Dew claws removed, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Puppy Starter Kit, Puppy Collar, Vaccinations, Certificate of Health, Food Starter Bag, Bone, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , AKC Registration, and Microchip.
Kris offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.

I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy Bernese Mountain Dogs for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. we do all required health and genetic test recommended by the parent club BMDCA.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis, Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
