I'm the breeder behind WoodSchott Cairn Terriers located in Savannah, MO. Our dogs are our kids. They live in our home and are spoiled rotten. It is a true joy to produce, raise, and place our pups! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

About Lori
I was raised on a farm and my dad raised different breeds of dogs throughout my life. My love of dogs certainly stems from that! I love being able to help someone else learn about our breeds and how to be responsible owners.
What makes Lori’s program special
Our babies are raised in our home, right where I can monitor and socialize the pups as they grow. Our adults are on-site and available to be visited with when the new families are looking for a new family member.

Program update on 09 Feb. •This is our nursery, in our home. This is where momma and babies live for the first 3-4 weeks, out of the hustle and bustle of our home. Once the pups start toddling around, I move them into our living room and they learn about sounds and schedules in a household. This is where socialization really begins. Handled and played with often, every day. They also get to interact with our adult dogs, as they get older.

Getting a puppy from Lori
Lori has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,150 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“The price includes all age appropriate shots and dewormings, puppy registration to the parents kennel club, socialized, and started on potty training. Puppy pack with each pup, makes transition easier. I require a $500 deposit to guarantee the puppy you have chosen. Thank you!”
Contract and health guarantee
Lori may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
We have kids and grandkids that love to help the puppies to be comfortable while being handled. We also have the "nursery" set up in a common area of our home so they learn when is playtime and when is quiet time. Daily they are allowed to run around in our home with our adult dogs, of course, while being supervised. They learn that there are quiet times when the lights go out. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
We vaccinate and deworm the puppies on a schedule prior to leaving for their new homes. They will have paperwork, documenting what shots and dewormer they have been given, along with dates and weights. All pups will be vet checked before leaving our care. They will also be micro-chipped.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Registration, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, Microchipped , Food Starter Bag, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and AKC Registration.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
