What's included

Enrichment and socialization

All my puppies are handled by myself or family members from birth. They will remain in the whelping box under heat lamps for 3 weeks. After this time the heat lamps are reduced. At 5 weeks they receive one meal from me. Puppies are then introduced a grain-free kibble lightly mixed with goats milk. Adopters are allowed to visit their puppies at 4 1/2 weeks of age. At six weeks puppies are on two meals from me and supervised visits from mom. At this age, they are curious and love to be handled and played with. Puppies by seven weeks old are weaned off the goat milk and are on a grain-free kibble 3 times a day with free choice water in their box. We play with the puppies several times a day, holding them on their backs and introducing toys and chews. We have a rubber matted outside puppy play yard filled with toys and new adventures. At 9 weeks old they are slowly introduced to my dogs. The adults teach them their ABC's, do's, and don'ts. I trust all my dogs with the puppies. My adults and jr dogs know they are part of our family. Watching them learn the ins and outs of our pack is just amazing. Puppies will sleep in a crate at night. They will start their day at 5 am potty, breakfast and then off to learn about another day of fun and adventures. Leash with harness training starts at 9 weeks old. I transfer puppies to a collar at 12 to 13 weeks of age if they are on the jumpstart program. I find the adopters that want the newborn package are looking forward to doing this on their own. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Potty Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Leash Walking, Sit Command, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Other Animals, and Grooming Desensitization.

Puppy health practices

All our puppies are dewormed at 3, 5, and 7 weeks of age. After that, a stool sample is brought to the vets to ensure a happy healthy pup. A puppy 6-way vaccination is administered between 7 and 8 weeks of age at their wellness exam. This is our newborn package. If your puppy is on our jumpstart package, he/she will go home at 14 weeks old. All three sets of shots will have been administered, rabies, microchipping by our vet is done at the last visit. deworming is followed up with stool samples as well.

Extras

We send our puppies home with dewormed, Microchipped , Vaccinations, and Puppy Leash.
