I'm the breeder behind Yellowstone Porties located in Rigby, ID. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. About Andrea
We are from Eastern Idaho. We have 2 children and our 2 Porties - Reef & Roxy. We have a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing. We also love to hike, camp, hunt, and boat. When we found PWDs it just clicked. This was the dog breed for us. They are hypoallergenic with good size and energy. They are perfect to keep up with everything we like to do.
What makes Andrea’s program special
Our program is designed with families in mind. Each of our pups is raised to be easily integrated into their new homes. Special time & attention is given to each pup so we know their personalities and needs to a tee.
Andrea has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

Our puppies are well adjusted to a home environment and exposed to a variety of sounds and textures. They sleep in a confined area at night and are used to using puppy pads or waiting until they are allowed to go outside. During the daytime they are outside often and allowed to run and play while supervised in our yard. They have been exposed to a variety of people and children of all ages. I utilize the following enrichment methods: also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Early stages of crate training, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Various Surfaces , Noises , Touch Desensitization, Strangers, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Socialized with Children.
All puppies will be vaccinated and examined by our veterinarian before going home.
We send our puppies home with Sound and texture enrichment, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, Puppy Collar, Food Starter Bag, Bone, and Blanket with Mom's Scent.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

About Roxy
Roxy is a very athletic, fun, water loving dog. She will play fetch with a tennis ball all day if you’d let her. She is always up for adventure and loves car rides!

Reef is such an amazing dog. He is very chill and loved by everyone he meets. He is a huge fan of car rides, stealing moms lap every time she sits on the couch, and being with us at all times. We’ve often commented how he would have made a great therapy/service dog.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Microphthalmia Syndrome (PES), Early Onset Progressive Retinal Atrophy (EOPRA), Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
