I'm the breeder behind Zaneca Aussies located in Smicksburg, PA. We live in a 1500 acre fully functional Century farm. We have been raising Australian Shepherds for over 30 years and truly love this breed. Puppy Culture Breeder
Connie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,200 - $1,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $250.
“Your non-refundable deposit is applied to the purchase price of your puppy. I will not ask for your deposit until I am sure that I have a puppy to offer you. This depends of the outcome of temperament testing at day 49. I do not place puppies by color alone but make sure each puppy is a good match for each placement.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Our puppies are 100% raised in our home, handled daily, age appropriately socialized, exposed to different people, animals, places, and stimuli. We start house breaking, crate training, and basic commands. We temperament test between day 48-49 and match puppies accordingly. We do not place puppies by color alone. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Puppy Culture , Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
All puppies will be examined by our veterinarian twice before leaving for their new homes, up to date on shots/worming, fed a quality food, given a daily vitamin, and a CERF check by a licensed ophthalmologist.
We send our puppies home with Microchip, Registration, Vet records, Food & treats, Basic obedience & manners, Early Neurological Stimulation, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Volhard Personality Test, Vaccinations, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Puppy Collar, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, Breed Club Registration, and AKC Registration.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
