I'm the breeder behind ZFG located in Jackson, MI. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

I am very proud to be breeding these incredible dogs. It is important to me that I am breeding versatile, well-rounded, socialized, and healthy pups for my buyers to welcome into their homes and hearts.

Enrichment and socialization

Puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture training program. They are raised in the home, not in a kennel. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Basic Manners, Socialized with Strangers, Noise Desensitization, Various Surfaces, Puppy Culture, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Chew, e.g. Bone, Grooming Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Other Animals, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.

Puppies receive age-appropriate deworming and vaccines prior to rehoming.

Janet offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Pick up your puppy in Jackson, MI or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
